Why is my Wi-Fi connection becoming slow?


There are many reasons for your connection to become slow. Lets look at a few possibilities that you might consider and check.

  1. Check for background application utilizing bandwidth that you might not be aware off, like anti-virus software doing updates, Windows updates, Application updates from various devices like mobile phones or tablets.
  2. Other members of the household streaming, uploading or downloading on their devices utilizing the bandwidth.
  3. Cache buildup in the antenna and Access Point. Turning off the antenna and Access Point (AP) for 15 seconds will help with that.
